Three Twins Who Liked Their Privacy

Fun fact: I am 14 months younger than my identical twin brothers. Most people could not tell them apart and often thought we were triplets! To me it was obvious that they looked different. Joe had a round face and Tom had a long face, plus their freckles landed on different parts of their faces. My gift for telling twins apart came in handy at school. Then came the Stephanelli twins – they looked nothing alike?! One was short with blonde hair, the other tall with brown hair, yet, their personalities were identical.

The same is true in real estate. I can tell the difference between Twin Homes, and they all have a personality – And once in a while, that personality is a little …private (for unique reasons) Here are their Stories.

Twin #1 — West Chester Borough.

This historic home started its life long ago pre-Coffee Shops— the kind of place built with purpose on a premier location — and over the years it evolved into a modern designer’s dream that was praised by the neighbors, including one that mentioned interest in living here one day.

My professional experience has taught me that these conversations rarely lead to a key toss, but when they do it can be uncomfortable to say the least. It made sense to act on behalf of my clients. It was my suggestion to entertain this option privately to minimize the neighborhood chatter. We worked together on a deal that made sense-and we created a desirable timeline which was equally important.

Twin #2 — The Highlands

Life doesn’t pause just because you’re selling your house. In this case, the sellers were juggling family health needs, which made the idea of constant showings and leaving the house feel overwhelming. Our Private listing attracted two fantastic offers to choose from for which my clients were grateful. one less thing to worry about!

Twin #3 —West Chester

Pristine & Original Owners! This stunning twin was meticulously cared for from day one. Every corner had a story. Every system maintained. Photographer was on his way when a colleague in my office was preparing an offer on another house in the same neighborhood and he saw the private post. Thankfully, they raced over and said YES to our address instead.

The offer was just what they wanted , the terms were flexible, and the seller never had fret over shoes in the house!

Why These Private Sales Worked. It’s a mix of personal and practical reasons:

Personal: Sometimes the disruption of public showings just doesn’t work for your life — health situations, work schedules, caregiving, neighborhood privacy, or simply wanting to skip the chaos.

Practical: A private offering lets you get early feedback, test the waters, and consider strong offers without putting your house — or your life — on full display.

Let me know if you would like to learn more about this, I’ll keep it quiet…

Warm and Cozy – Let it Snow

Winter weather can negatively impact the sale of your house if you don’t make it safe on the outside and warm & cozy inside!

The buyer guest experience done well provides house hunters the comfort of touring without distractions like ice, snow, chilly house, etc.

Turning lights on before the visitors arrive is a good thing.
